2024 ArtSpotlight “Inspired” Exhibit, Judges Comments:
First Place: Passionate Moonlight Stroll, Acrylic by Robert Shirk
"A vibrant pointillism artwork with a captivating interplay of colors and texture. The viewer's perception might shift depending on the distance and angle from which they view the artwork, a common trait of pointillism. There's a sense of energy and movement in the piece, almost as if the colors are dancing or vibrating. The blending of colors within each dot cluster creates a hazy, dreamlike effect."

The Story Of This Painting.

The heat of passion is ignited by a cool moonlight stroll. This painting the first abstract work I've done in a long time. It is inspired from Monet's Arm of the Seine series.
